23-Year-Old Bihar Man Dies Suddenly in Mumbai After Fever and Stomach Pain

A 23-year-old man from Bihar's Shyampur village died suddenly in Mumbai after developing fever and stomach pain. Sujeet Kumar Dev was rushed to a hospital around 3.30 am, but doctors declared him dead.

A 23-year-old man from Shyampur village under Alinagar police station area died in Mumbai after his health suddenly deteriorated, leaving his family devastated. Doctors declared Sujeet Kumar Dev dead after he was rushed to a hospital at around 3.30 am before Friday morning.

Sujeet Kumar Dev, son of Punikant Lal Dev and Phulo Devi, had been living in Mumbai for around five years and working as a labourer. He had studied up to Class 10. About five months ago, he returned to Mumbai and started driving a rented taxi.

According to the information available, Sujeet suddenly developed a fever on the evening of September 17. He called his younger brother, Vipin Kumar Dev, who was living in Mumbai, and asked him to come. Vipin took him to a doctor, where he was examined and given medicines. Sujeet then returned to his room.

Later, Sujeet complained of stomach pain. His roommate, who was from Madhubani, informed his elder brother Raj Kumar Dev, who was living in Assam, by phone. Raj Kumar Dev immediately informed their younger brother Vipin about Sujeet's condition.

Vipin and other acquaintances then reached Sujeet's room and rushed him to a hospital for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

After the post-mortem examination, Sujeet's body was cremated in Mumbai. Meanwhile, after receiving news of his death, his mother, who was travelling to Babadhame on a pilgrimage, is returning home.

The news of Sujeet's death has left his family in deep distress. His married sister, elderly father and other relatives are inconsolable. People visiting the family to offer support are also struggling to contain their emotions after seeing their condition.

The sudden death of the 23-year-old, following fever and subsequent stomach pain, has left his family and villagers mourning his loss.
